Chase to Smith Bridge Trip (5 hours)
"The Mason Tract" is the 1,200 acres of wilderness area left to the State of Michigan by the late George W. Mason. This is truly an unspoiled nature trip. Trout fishermen claim it as holy waters.
You will see the remains of Durant's Castle, the Highbanks, and Mason's Chapel on this stretch. For spending a day on the river, this trip is unmatched.
Due to it's length and the remote location, this trip is best for older children and adults.
Last departure time is 1:00.
Tubes are not available for this trip unless accompanied by canoes.
